Elix Taillon is a queer, neurodivergent writer, editor, and translator. Her book reviews, poetry, and prose have been published online and in print. Her first book translation, Scenes from the Underground, is out now with House of Anansi. She holds a Master’s degree in French Literature from the University of Toronto and is a candidate for the MFA in Creative Writing at UBC. She received the CGS-M grant from the Government of Canada to complete work on her thesis novel, a surrealist exploration of caretaking, family, body, and mind. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting and balancing a nice, strong cup of tea on her to-be-read pile so it’s within easy reach.
